Harvey Update:
I got a call just before 6 PM tonight from the vet’s office. All of Harvey’s blood work came back normal, which is good but frustrating, because there’s still something obviously wrong with him. I’m hoping we can figure something out tomorrow. I might be sleeping on the couch with him tonight just to [...]

The Princesses Are In Town!

I woke up early this morning to pack macaroons for the blogger lunch today. They were pretty much my breakfast. What?! I had to taste-test them before giving out 25 baggies to some people I’ve never met.

The macaroons are the exact recipe from Raw Food Real World and you can purchase the cookbook [...]

What a weird day.
I woke very early this morning to get things done around our apartment in anticipation of being gone from 8:30 AM to 9:30 PM today. I had yoga plans with Ashley, a working lunch, then my other job the rest of the day. I loved being up a few hours before yoga [...]

Pure2Raw Online Store Review

Wow, everyone loves mason jars! Seriously, they’re a cheap, food storage solution that can be used for anything! Multi-purpose = happy Ryan!
I know some girls who also have quite the collection of masons that they’ve been showing off in their Kombucha and Kefir making videos. I admire Lori and Michelle so much and adore their [...]

Just finished all of my assignments that are due by the end of every Sunday night. Great feeling! And with a few minutes to post my eats for the day!
Pancakes were just finishing up in the dehydrator as we woke up this morning. These are from Kristen Suzanne’s: Dehydrating book. They were delicious but definitely [...]

All or Nothing?

Back for dinner!
Around 6 PM I threw a tray of raw falafels into the dehydrator for a couple of hours.

And whipped up a batch of Ani’s Phyo’s raw sun-dried tomato hummus. The base of the hummus was zucchini (instead of chickpeas)! It was made rich with tahini and thickened up with sun-dried tomatoes.

I cut a [...]

Here’s What I Ate Today

Finally, a day of my food for you!
I had every intention of going to the gym today, so I ate a piece of millet french toast and a cup of Teeccino for some fuel. Sadly, my foot was really bothering me today (from my bouldering incident), so I decided to take it easy for a [...]

Ice Skating, Dear John, and Cafe 118

in Breakfast, Dinner, Lunch

Depending on the day, my diet varies from lots of delicious raw foods to lots of yummy, hearty vegan foods. This largely depends on the current stock of food we have in our fridge. Right now, we’re in desperate need of veggies, so yesterday was a hearty, vegan food day.
I started with calcium enriched OJ [...]

Where have I been?!
Well, my laptop completely died on me last week. I lost everything (except my most recent backup which was apparently 90 days ago-whoops), BUT Apple was able to repair it at no cost to me and get it back to my apartment on Saturday morning. I was very impressed by their customer [...]

We Have A Lot Of Vegetables To Eat

WOW, we sure have been eating well around here! I’ll backtrack to Friday night…
Evan made us dinner and had to be very creative with our empty fridge and pantry. He cooked some green lentils, quinoa and an onion mixture with virtually every spice we own. It was DELICIOUS! He plated it with salsa and avocado. [...]
