Back to the Vet!

First I need to thank everyone who commented on the 5th installment of Ask Me Anything yesterday. We talked about how much groceries cost, and I found out that Evan and I are definitely not alone in large grocery bills. The major consensus was that it’s worth it! It is the only body you’ll ever [...]

Sunday, Sunday

in Breakfast, Dinner, Lunch

Comes right before Monday, Monday.
Yesterday I naturally woke up at 8 AM which is ridiculous and awesome for the weekend. Ridiculous because I sometimes have a hard time waking up at that time during the week. Awesome because I can experience a FULL weekend day without waking up to my alarm clock.
I promptly plopped on [...]

The Princesses Are In Town!

in Lunch

I woke up early this morning to pack macaroons for the blogger lunch today. They were pretty much my breakfast. What?! I had to taste-test them before giving out 25 baggies to some people I’ve never met.

The macaroons are the exact recipe from Raw Food Real World and you can purchase the cookbook [...]

Meal Planning: Yes or No?

What a weird day.
I woke very early this morning to get things done around our apartment in anticipation of being gone from 8:30 AM to 9:30 PM today. I had yoga plans with Ashley, a working lunch, then my other job the rest of the day. I loved being up a few hours before yoga [...]

Hi!
I had another fun, eventful day! It all started with my new heaven…Manna Bread. Date Cinnamon Manna Bread, to be exact. Chewy, moist, dense deliciousness. Go get some (Whole Foods frozen bread section)! I topped it with some coconut oil.

Harvey and I had a date with the vet this morning for a checkup on his [...]

Thank you all for hoping I feel better! As predicted, everything was pretty much back to normal when I woke up this morning.
One huge Cherry Chocolate Bomb Shake for breakfast. I added maca to it, which I definitely feel the energetic effects of. Love maca!

Ashley came over for lunch today! We had plans for Chipotle [...]

When do you prefer to work?

by Ryan @ Greens for Good on March 1, 2010 · 14 comments

in Breakfast, Lunch

Totally loved working 9:30-5:30 today! I usually don’t get off work until 8:30 PM or later, and sometimes that just seems like a total waste. If I’m going to get off work late, I feel like I might as well get off at midnight so that my whole evening goes toward something productive. Getting off [...]

Kaia Foods Review

by Ryan @ Greens for Good on March 1, 2010 · 2 comments

in Lunch

A couple of weeks ago, Nick of kaia foods sent me some product samples to try out.

I instantly loved kaia because of their belief in eating minimally processed, whole foods. They “sprout, mix and dehydrate our organic foods at low temperatures so that they remain ‘raw’. No baking, frying, bleaching, or weird processing steps!” They [...]

Made With Love

Just finished all of my assignments that are due by the end of every Sunday night. Great feeling! And with a few minutes to post my eats for the day!
Pancakes were just finishing up in the dehydrator as we woke up this morning. These are from Kristen Suzanne’s: Dehydrating book. They were delicious but definitely [...]

Yawwwwwwnnnnnnn.
I’m sleepy! I got about 9 hours of sleep last night but I’m pretty tired already. We didn’t have the completely active and healthy day we had planned (it rained all day), but we did get out this afternoon to look at houses (yippee!), run errands and get groceries.
I started the day with a huge [...]
