Last night we needed some time just for the three of us and there wasn’t anything monumental to mention about the day since I worked and Evan looked after Harvey all day.
We decided last night that Harvey would sleep in our bed like he normally loved to do before he got sick. After setting up a bed between our pillows, Harvey decided that he wanted to be under the covers. When he wants something he tries very hard to get to it, but since he can’t walk, I picked him up and put him on a towel next to me. He slept there all night and I hardly slept at all. It was worth it though.
Now I am sitting at the vet specialists and ready to get going on whatever is to come. We are in desperate need of some answers and some closure. I’ll update when I know more!

PS – If it seems like life has stopped because of my only Harvey-centered posts lately, it has. There isn’t much else I think about or do.

I am so sorry about Harvey. I have such a soft-spot for cats so this really breaks my heart. I truly hope everything turns out okay. I will say a little prayer for Harvey!

I know exactly what you are going through. We lost our cat 1 1/2 years ago and reading your posts brings back all of those emotions that you are going through. There were times in that last week that I felt like I was suffocating. It really is all that you can think about. I even lost a few pounds as food was the last thing on my mind.
I am so sorry for the pain that you are going through. I wish you all peace.

My heart goes out to you.. it is so hard when your pet is sick.. they are so helpless. I hope it all works out for you and Harvey. Don’t feel bad about the posting.. who cares about food right now anyway? I’ve been waiting for the updates on Harvey!

I’m sorry for all of the pain that you are going through. I really hope that Harvey comes out of his procedure ok and that you can get answers as to what is wrong. And DO NOT feel like you are letting anyone down. YOu made a commitment to that little fellow when you adopted him, and you are being the best mom to Harvey that you can be. Those emails and those friends and that gym will all be there when Harvey gets better… Harvey NEEDS you right now. I’ll be thinking about you!
