Today is Harvey’s 1st birthday! We’re not really sure when he was born exactly since we adopted him from a woman who found him in a garage, but, March 15th was her estimate and we’ve always stuck to that date!

“Mom, I didn’t make that mess, I swear.”
Unfortunately, we spent the morning at the vet as Harvey has developed more symptoms that seem to be pointing to hyperthyroidism. The vet thinks it explains his dizzy spells, weight loss, increased appetite, increased water consumption, lethargy and restlessness. We’re hoping to get his blood work results back tomorrow so we can move forward with medications or surgery. I just want him to feel normal!
Anyway, here are some new pictures of Harvey in honor of his birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANDSOME KITTY!!!!

That sucks Harvey keeps having problems. Hopefully you get things figured out soon.

Still fascinating seeing a sign like you posted on previous post: no swimming, danger, alligators. Worst thing around here swimming is leaches and bloodsuckers

I just clicked over to see yours and they are ADORABLE! I want a friend for Harvey. Preferably a friend that doesn’t need to frequent the vet!

Harvey is so adorable! I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who falls for the expensive pets! Good luck with him.

Expensive is an understatement, but he’s worth it! Who knows what would have happened to him if we hadn’t adopted him?

Happy Birthday Harvey! We have two kitty boys that we treat as our children. We just love them to bits. I totally understand how it is to love a kitty. Our boys birthday is May 8th! I love celebrating!!!

Happy Birthday Harvey! Poor thing, having sick animals is the worst feeling ever. I have two cats and a dog, and whenever they are not feeling well, I feel so helpless. I wish they could just talk to us and tell us what’s wrong! Hopefully the vet will give him the treatment he needs so he can get better soon.

We guess on my cats b-day as well, and since the vets guess was a week before my bday, I choose to share my day with her.
Happy Birthday Harvey!

Haha, thanks! Evan made it for his parent’s cats a couple of years ago with popsicle sticks and a hot glue gun. We inherited it shortly after before adopting Harvey!
