Totally loved working 9:30-5:30 today! I usually don’t get off work until 8:30 PM or later, and sometimes that just seems like a total waste. If I’m going to get off work late, I feel like I might as well get off at midnight so that my whole evening goes toward something productive. Getting off at 8:30 is too late to get things done or do something fun, and too early to go to bed. On the flip side, I love normal work hours because I have plenty of time in the morning, feel productive about my entire day, then can go home and be productive (for example I had a conference call tonight). Anyone else?
Are you sick of seeing Cherry Chocolate Bomb Shakes with spinach yet?? I’m not! Can you tell I’m slightly obsessed? I drank a whole one for breakfast on my way to work.

A* and I went to Roly Poly for lunch today! It’s been a couple of months since we last got food there (kind of a tradition with A* and I), so it was exciting. It took me awhile to figure out my own, perfect wrap there, but when I finally did back in November, I decided there was no reason to stray from what I knew was good!
(The following photos are from my BlackBerry Bold 9700 camera phone. I’m super excited about the quality of them compared to my last BB!)
Miss Vickie’s Simply Sea Salt Kettle Cooked Chips

Whole Wheat wrap with spinach, avocado, cucumber, sprouts, lettuce, banana peppers, cashews and pineapple. It’s surprisingly tasty!

Then we walked to Ace Hardware to check out prices on mason jars. Evan and I store everything in mason jars and we’ve been out of empty ones for over a month (while tons of bulk items are still sitting in bags). I was shocked to see that Ace Hardware prices were as low as Wal-Mart and they carry half-gallon jars (what we really need!). I went back after work, stocked up, proceeded to drop a case in the parking lot, but only broke one. Whoops!
After Ace Hardware, we were off to the park! Beautiful day here in Orlando!

I wrote the beginning of this post earlier today while A* was taking nap. Since then, my head has been pounding and I’ve felt pretty bad all over. I don’t have it in me to continue about the rest of my day. Sorry! I don’t think I’m getting sick, but I’ll leave it at that. For now, I’m drinking some coconut water and going to bed. Everything should be back to normal in the morning.

Hope your Monday was wonderful!

Although I usually don’t like getting up early I’d rather start early and be done early. This started when I picked up the game of golf 10 years ago and if I got off work early enough I could golf every afternoon.

hope you feel better soon! My work schedule is all over the place. I like working 8-4 the best. I feel like I have so much of the day left when I’m home early.

That sounds perfect! An hour workout in the middle of the day must really boost your energy and make the day fly!

I love that I work my own hours now. I often work 7-4 and then run… or work 8-6 with a full one or two hour break to go to an appointment. I love it!

I would definitely rather start early and be finished early. I get home around 5:00, when I prepare dinner, and then I just want to relax. Sometimes I’ll come home and get a quick run in, but it would be nice to finish work by 3:00 so that I could get a long run in, then a shower, and THEN make dinner. I just can’t seem to get a long run in early in the morning – well, I can, but a very sloooow run!
I definitely wish there were more hours in the day, but maybe I should just manage my time better. LOL!
