What a fun morning I had! Caitlin asked me yesterday if I’d be able to drive her to pick up her Chevy Traverse for the Chevy Traverse Girlfriend Getaway contest she won! I’m always up for something new and fun, and had no plans this morning, so I figured why not? We also picked up Meghann on the way since she won the contest as well.
I woke up a little late this morning and rushed around quite a bit to get ready. I made another Cherry Chocolate Bomb Shake with spinach and ran out the door to Caitlin’s house.

I didn’t realize there would be a lot going on around this contest and before I knew it we were in the WESH 2 studios and the girls were being introduced in front of all of the Chevy dealers.

They’re so pretty!

We headed outside a little later so all of the bloggers who were chosen could learn about the Traverse.

Meghann drove off in hers first!

We waited awhile and eventually Caitlin’s came. It had a few extra features and was beautiful!

It was a fun morning! I left starving and couldn’t wait to get home for more falafel pitas!

Soooo goood!

I’m off to work! Have a great day!

Hi Ryan! I am dying to make the chocolate cherry bomb shake with spinach! I don’t have hemp seeds or raw chocolate powder. Do you think I could sub some chocolate amazing meal in there instead? I also have some generic protein powder, not hemp.. so I’m wondering if I should add that too?
I know you don’t count calories, but do you have any rough idea of how many calories are in that shake? If not, no worries – I can calculate it on my own
Thanks for help!

You can totally replace it with chocolate amazing meal (like a whole scoop prob) and not worry about the protein powder. I don’t use the hemp protein (I use SunWarrior instead) but I do add the shelled hemp seeds. You could also use your protein powder and cocao/cocoa powder (doesn’t have to be raw, just not sweetened) instead leave out amazing meal if you wanted.
I have no idea how many calories it is, sorry! I don’t pay any attention to them at all to even estimate.

I just saw your picture on Caitlin’s blog, and I just have to say – I LOVE your outfit! That sweater is so cute – do you remember where you got it? I’ve been looking for a longer one that I can wear with leggings, and I just loved it.

Thanks! I got it from H&M on sale for like $10 in November. They always have great, long sweater stuff!

Thank you! You should try them – there are directions in the original recipe for using an oven if you don’t own a dehydrator!
