Hey again! I’m feeling much better (mentally) and am ready to come back to my poor blog that I’ve been neglecting. In light of the new year, I wanted to set out some goals I have for 2010. Most of them I’m already currently working on, but why not make it more official? Here we [...]

Hey guys, just a little update to let you know that I’m still alive! Thank you so much for your kind words regarding the car accident! I was floored by the outpouring of support and encouraging words. You’re the best!
Sadly, my appetite has not been alive and I’ve just kind of been eating to eat [...]

[sarcasm]
Hey guys. If you’re following me on Twitter, you probably saw that I was in a car accident this morning. I don’t want to say much because I haven’t met with an attorney yet, but basically I was rear-ended and thrown into another vehicle. I didn’t feel much at first because of the adrenaline (I’m [...]

I’m here…I’m alive…I promise. Despite being done with school, I haven’t been able to bring myself to my computer to write a post. It’s a weird, sort of…mental block that I really can’t explain, but I’m going with it.
Might have a big announcement coming up here in a couple of days. The post is written, [...]

Harvey Update

in Lunch

Hello! Sorry to leave you hanging yesterday with more Harvey updates. I needed a day to think about food and how I wanted to use the new appliances we have efficiently (i.e. meal planning, grocery shopping and cooking–yes that took up my entire afternoon/evening because I wasn’t moving very fast). I also had a conference [...]

Evan’s Birthday Present
I had a fun afternoon breaking in Evan’s birthday present (don’t worry, he told me to). The Vita-Mix, though it was given to me as my birthday present, is definitely for both of us. Evan is just as into food and living healthfully as I am (if not more?) and was equally as [...]

I got THE BEST birthday present from Evan this year, but you’ll have to keep reading…[or skip the food and come back to it later!]

1/3 cup each: oats, water, almond milk
cinnamon
agave nectar
walnuts
raisins
unsweetened shredded coconut

And a Strawberry GoodBelly shot

For lunch I feasted on some leftover israeli [...]

2 papers, 3 projects and 2 exams in five days. I’m here. On the other side of finals week and I survived! I’m exhausted just thinking about it. First semester of graduate school? [a proud] CHECK!
I’m so thankful to be done. Truly, truly thankful. I feel like my mind has been completely clouded in the [...]
