Good morning and Happy Sunday! Surprise! I attended the Founder’s Day 10K with Ashley, Caitlin, Kelly and Katy this morning so I could photograph them crossing the finish line. It was a last minute decision made l at girls night and I questioned it a bit at 5:30 this morning after about 2 hours of sleep. However I promised myself a gift-carded Gingerbread Latte with some Perfect Oatmeal for the cold morning, and that really got me moving. Somehow it is always easier to be awake really early when it is cold outside. I loved it!
I met up with the other girls around 6:15 and Caitlin drove us all to Celebration.
Everyone was really hoping to PR (Katy and I were spectators/photographers).
Everyone got their gear and race faces on…
And they were off!
I was busy getting shots of other runners to test out all of my settings before the girls came in. Yes, this guy finished first in 31:45!
Kelly took me by surprise, coming in under 52 minutes and at least a minute earlier than I was expecting. Luckily I caught her at the last minute through my lens and got two shots!
Next in was Caitlin around the 53 minute mark. This time she was all smiles and I was able to get a lot of great photographs.
Ashley also took me by surprise around the 58 minute mark! She told me not to expect her until after an hour, but luckily Katy was paying attention and I was able to get some great pictures of her as well.
GREAT JOB GIRLS!!! Thanks for letting me be a part of your amazing races

And Ashley spread the Twilight love, haha.
Overall a fabulous morning with some of my favorite people! And it’s not even noon yet
